15 Day Book Blogger Challenge | Day 12

Hosted by April of Books & Wine, here’s a chance for me to answer some questions about blogging and try to get inspired and excited again about why book bloggers blog about books!

So today’s prompt is:

How Do You Fight Bloggers Fatigue

The one thing that usually helps me with blogger fatigue is just taking a break. Just stop for a while/few days and do something else. Which is why when I’m actually doing well with writing I try to get a bunch of post done ahead of time so when I do hit writers block/bloggers fatigue I have something prepared haha.

Other things that help with bloggers fatigue is seeing someone else’s awesome post for inspiration! It’s nice to get some inspiration and change up the style of writing or presentation.

Lately, I been enjoying the uses of gifs. To express my emotions. I’m not always great with words, but there’s usually a gif that expresses almost exactly what I need.

  1. Kim and Cyn, do you create your own GIF? If you don’t, where do you find them? I wasn’t huge on a gif’s but only when the entire post is filled with tonnes and tonnes of them. However, I like the use of a few in one post.

I really love going to other blogs for inspiration when I feel a bit overwhelmed with all the tour dates and all the due dates for review books I always just chill out and read other blogs, check out their awesome posts and that normally reinstates my love for blogging. I’m yet to go into major blogging fatigue though.

    1. Hey Angelica,
I don’t usually make my own.gif but just Google them (in images) or on tumblr. You can find almost anything on tumblr haha.
