The next highly anticipated novella in the Searching For series, a romantic spin-off of the Marriage to a Billionaire series from New York Times bestselling sensation Jennifer Probst.
When Isabella MacKenzie tries to move on from her disastrous past, Officer William Devine is determined to show her that love is the only way to heal. This sexy enovella, the final installment in Jennifer Probst’s heartwarming Searching For series, follows the high-powered women of the popular matchmaking agency Kinnections, located in the small, picturesque town of Verily, NY.

Review:

Searching for Disaster is the last happily ever after in the Searching For series and it was definitely a nice way to conclude the series.

If you’ve been reading this series, you’ll know that Isabella MacKenzie (twin sister of Searching for Beautiful’s Genevieve) had been struggle with addictions and keeping her family away. So I was definitely happy to see her find her true love. This was a second-chance kind of romance with Officer William Devine, who may as well been the one that got away.

I really enjoyed the chemistry between Izzy and Liam. They had very cute banter.

“Okay”

“Okay. But please let’s no say that word to each other again. I refuse to be cast in a sappy John Green movie that makes chicks cry.”

But more than that I like that they’re good for each other despite being two pretty different people. That there is emotional connections.

“It must be nice to never question your path,” she said softly. “To always know your direction.”

“Sometimes. But I worry that by being focused on one way, I missed all the interesting side roads that make life worth living”

I seriously adore Liam.

Izzy is actually on a self-imposed no boys exile when of course Liam returns into her life. I loved that Liam is determined to win over Izzy. And he does it so well with his charming and sweet personality. Liam certainty had his work cut out for him and I’m glad he stuck to his guns. Izzy is pretty much head-over-heels for Liam too but her past and insecurities definitely caused some bumps in the road (which was understandable but also frustrating). Thankfully Izzy has some wonderful friends and family to also support her.

Overall, this was a sweet romance with two people who really deserved their happily ever after. It brought cuteness, sizzingly connection, tugging of heartstrings and true love. I loved that there was the return of the Book of Spells and more importantly getting to see the friendship of the Kinnections girls. Searching for Disaster, you did good.

“You’ve always been mine.”
