Ho-ho-ho Read-a-thon 2016!

hohohorat2016

Hey guys! It’s the Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-thon hosted by the lovely Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer! So why a Ho-Ho-Ho readathon? Well, that’s because who doesn’t adore holiday themed books! So what does this read-a-thon entail? All you need to do is grab your pile of holiday themed books, whether it’s the covers, or tales of good tidings, and join in the fun and read (and if you want, do(all the) challenges)!  The readathon runs from November 9th to 15th. (For more info or to sign up, check the Kimba’s site!)

Nov 7th: Ahoy guys, so the Ho-Ho-Ho RAT starts on the 9th so I’m getting my books in order for the readathon. My favourite holiday reads tend to be novellas and anthologies, so that’s probably what I’m sticking with this year.

Here’s my (tentative) list:

If you guys have any recommendations for me, please feel free to holla. I love finding more cute Christmas reads!

NOV 9: Starting with One Snowy Night by Jill Shalvis! Can’t wait for Rory and Max’s happily ever after!

NOV 9, II: Finisheeeed! So cute. On to anthology Snowbound for Christmas!

NOV 10: Review (and giveaway) of One Snowy Night HERE!

NOV 12: Finished up Snowbound at Christmas. (Review on the 18th!) On to Mistletoes, Mischief, and the Marquis! Last one, yay!

  1. What a great read-a-thon idea! I don’t read nearly enough holiday-themed novels, and I know of a lot of romance novels that are holiday-themed. 😀 I really liked Sophie Jordan’s An Heiress for All Seasons. Katharine Ashe has a holiday novella that I have not read – Kisses, She Wrote. I adore the Prince Catchers series, but never got around to reading that one. Maybe that will be my goal!

I also haven’t read Lori Wilde’s I’ll Be Home for Christmas, but I remember seeing a lot of buzz for that one last year. Same with All I Want for Christmas Is a Duke, and Home for Christmas (Lily Everett). But I have not read any of them!

Best of luck with the read-a-thon, Cyn!

    1. Isn’t it! You should definitely join it 😉

I’m thinking of adding All I Want for Christmas Is a Duke to my list, since I really enjoy Valerie Bowman and I’ve been thinking of checking out Vivienne Lorret and this seems as good as a time as ever!

      Thanks, Alyssa!

  2. All of these look good. I read the Shalvis one, since I wanted to share holiday book reviews during the thon on m blog 🙂

    1. Can’t wait to see your reviews! Thanks, Kim!
