There’s no resisting a desire like this…

MMA fighter Miles Dartman’s casual arrangement with personal shopper Maxi Nevar would be many men’s fantasy. She seeks him out, they have mindblowing sex, she leaves. Rinse, repeat. Yet lately, Miles wants more. And when Maxi requests his services via the Body Armor security agency, he’s ready to finally break through her defenses—and protect her day and night.

Receiving a large inheritance has brought chaos and uncertainty into Maxi’s life. Her ex has resurfaced, along with lots of former “friends,” and someone is making mysterious threats. Then there’s Miles, who doesn’t ask for anything…except her trust. Pleasure is easy. Now Maxi has to give her heart as well as her body…or risk losing a man who could be everything she needs.

If you’ve read (and liked) any of the books in the Body Armor series than likely you’ll enjoy Close Contact! If you haven’t read any than you’re in for a treat of a steamy romance and suspenseful story with some fun, awesome characters.

This story was a good mix of sweet, steamy and danger with Miles ending up as the bodyguard for Maxi, who had left him hanging until she realized she may be in danger after inheriting her grandma’s farm. I love that Miles needs to prove to Maxi they’re more than just a one-night stand.

I love the other characters from the Body Armor (and Ultimate) series, so I’m always happy to see them make an appearance! And with a collection of cute cats and goats and other characters, you can’t help but be excited for more of this series (I’m looking at Sahara, super sassy boss of Body Armor!).

Overall, a good addition to the series! It was nice to get back into this series.
