New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Jennifer Probst sparks a blissful mind-body connection as her “sexy, satisfying” (Kirkus Reviews) new series continues!

She’s an expert in helping others de-stress, but Arilyn Meadows is running on fumes. Along with her job counseling singles seeking soul mates at the Kinnections agency in Verily, New York, she’s a yoga teacher, animal shelter volunteer, anger management therapist, and helping hand to her beloved grandfather. No time to find Mr. Right—but after discovering her yogi boyfriend in a compromising asana, Arilyn would rather dog-sit for her honeymooning friend Kate than risk her heart on another downward dog. And when police officer Stone Petty—radiating masculinity and bad-boy attitude—is sent to her for mandatory lessons in cooling off when the job gets too hot, Arilyn vows to ignore his seductive glances and sexy grin. But there’s no halting their sizzling flirtation—a red-hot, high-speed chase that’s breaking all the limits.

Finally! Arilyn’s (and Stone’s) story! We got a sneak peek of their spark in Searching for Beautiful and fireworks in Searching for Always! Probst’s show us just how opposites do attract! Woot, woot. Arilyn is a yoga instructor/ councelor at Kinnections and a pretty free spirit. Stone is a police officer, with a temper and is a bit of a hard ass.

This teaser basically sums it all up!

I think this one is my favourite so far of the series. I have a soft spot for bicker-to-romance couples and that is them to a T. Plus I loved the chemistry because Arilyn and Stone. Lots of spark, lots of bickering, lots of banter and lots of smoldering sexual tension, oh yeah.

The character growth for both was amazing to see, especially Stone (who totally won me over) who had a terrible and abusive childhood and just didn’t want to open up to love. The most endearing and cutest thing is probably Stone getting over his fear of dogs (he was attacked by one as a kid) and falling head over heels for a tiny, frosty, little Chihuahua named Pinky, which in turn had Arilyn falling heads over heels for Stone.

And that’s when it happened.

The great sex turned into more. Arilyn looked at this massive, pissed-off male cradling the tiny Chihuahua, with her pink collar and soft brown eyes that had come back to life, and did the dumbest thing in the whole wide world.

She tumbled into love right then and there with Stone Petty.

For realz, Stone and Pinky. Freak’n an adorable duo. (Here’s Stone taking to Pinky about taking her to the Station)

“You may have won over Devine, but those guys in there are hard-core, mean-ass brutes who’ll eat you alive. And me. I’d have to transfer, and I was just got used to Verily. I’m not f*cking doing this.”

No answer.

“Fine. Let’s get this over with. Not a word. And be cool. Do you understand me?”

(FYI, all the ‘hard-core, mean-ass brutes’ (aka. Stone’s police buddies) adored Pinky.)

Overall, it was a super cute and heartfelt read. My biggest compliant from the previous books was that all the characters had issues about the “I don’t believe that true love can last, so why bother fighting for it” mentality. Thankfully Probst did an excellent job of scaling that back and I loved Arilyn and Stone’s journey to true love.

Oh, this book can definitely be a standalone, but there’s lots of cameos from all the characters from the previous books, so in that scene, it’s nice to have that background knowledge.

To sum it all up:

“I know we’re gonna fight, and you’ll piss me off, and I’ll piss you off, but I think we were meant to be together the moment I first laid eyes on you and decided I didn’t like you.”
