Sunday Post (115) / Stacking the Shelves (95)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

It’s been a raining-ish week in Cali, which is not normal May weather. Normal May weather is heat and endless sunshine. I keep forgetting that summer is just around the corner soon when the cloudy weather keeps hanging out. I’ve been thinking about attending a book event later this week (with Katie Finn, Marie Rutkoski, and a couple of other Fierce Reads authors) as a birthday treat to myself, but I’m not sure if I want to go. The introvert in me is saying no.

  1. I’ve heard great things about both The Remedy and The Orphan Queen! Funnily enough, it’s been raining endlessly in Australia too. Hope you get some nicer weather soon!

  2. You must go to the event treat yourself. I have heard many people loving both your books you got. Happy Reading.

  4. I’m in Australia and we’ve had some weird weather. Autumn has been very warm, although we had a few cold days in late April it’s back to being hot again. Our winter is very moderate and I LOVE It. (I hate summer – far too hot and humid – so I’m wanting winter to get a hurry-on!

  5. A Madness so Discreet is up on Edelweiss. Just downloaded it last week and I’m excited!
I didn’t realized until recently that the Remedy was a separate series than the Program. I want to try it!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Jen at YA Romantics

  6. I need to get ahold of The Orphan Queen, as well as finishing Jodi Meadows’ other series.

  7. ARG SUBGENRES! These drive me batty as I can never seem to find what I’m looking for at the local bookstore. Not only do I need to know the name of the author and the book (thank you GoodReads on my phone), but I have to know if it is contemporary fiction or paranormal romance. I haven’t read the book, how would I know?!

    Have a good week.

  8. You should totally go to the fierce reads book event. I went to one last year and it was great. No one is coming to florida on this leg of the tour though 🙁

I hope you have a fantastic week 🙂 Happy Reading!
