Sunday Post (150) / Stacking the Shelves (130)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello! Cyn here (:

Gah, yesterday definitely has been one of the colder days since winter has started (-35C) and course I had to a ton of errands to do, boo. But I did get a nice chai latte and started Truthwitch by Susan Dennard, so that made me happy!

Nothing else too interesting to report on this week, since I’m at work now all day.  I’m slowly making my way through Supernatural (on to season 2 now!). Watched a lot of Hallmark movies. Yup!

Hope everyone has a lovely week!

Brr! That is cold! I hope you are staying warm and enjoying Truthwitch. I have heard good things about it, and it’s one of the top books on my wish list. The Great Hunt sure sounds good. I think I may have that one in my TBR collection read. A Study in Charlotte is one I am keeping my eye on. It sounds like something I might like. I hope you have a great week, Cyn! I am hoping to get out tomorrow and do something fun, but we’ll see. Likely I’ll end up staying indoors most of the day.

  2. Wow.. I can’t believe you aren’t frozen yet! LOL!! Here we are hoping it starts freezing at least a little. But I’m always so cold I’m not sure I can get through the freezing weather.
You have a great new book list. I love Julia Quinn!!
    Have a great week 😉

  3. Oh! Chilly! Luckily it’s not that cold here. Though it did snow again yesterday evening and it’s still going. It’s just tiny bits of snow, so there can’t be more than 10cm on the ground in total, but it all looks very pretty and white (and cold) now!

  4. Oh my goodness. That’s cold. Thankfully we don’t get THAT cold in DC. I don’t think I could handle it. Nice book haul! I’m salivating over the historical romances. I picked up The Hunter and cannot wait to read it. I loved the first book in that series and can’t wait to see where the second will take me.

    Have a great week!

    That’s a Wrap Weekly!

  5. My heart about stopped when I saw -35, that’s crazy! Hope you stay warm!

  6. There are some great looking books there, I hope you enjoy your reading! (And that you stay warm in such cold weather!)

  7. I have the historicals from Jeffries, Galen and Byrne as well. I will have to pop back by to see what you thought of them.

  8. That is such a pretty cat!

It’s freezing here as well, but definitely not that cold (thank goodness). Stay warm!

I want to read Truthwitch so bad. I keep forgetting to buy it! Also, I hope you enjoy Supernatural! I love that show 🙂

    Here is my Sunday Post!

  10. Mmmm, now I want fooooooood. I have The Great Hunt! I actually think I’ll be getting to it soon. 😀 So many great HR novels! Recently I read Ashe’s The Rogue and Rodale’s Lady Bridget’s Diary… I think my next one will be Caroline Linden’s latest Scandal book! That series is one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy all of your new books, Cyn!

Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a wonderful week. 🙂
