Sunday Post (152) / Stacking the Shelves (132)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

I can’t believe January is nearly over. While I didn’t read much this month I ended up sticking to my TBR list, which never really happens. There was at least one book I DNF but that was okay because it was a reread. Here’s what I’m hoping to read in February:
Stars Above by Marissa Meyer, Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson, Passenger by Alexandra Bracken, This is Where it Ends by Marieke Nijkamp, and Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

What is on your February TBR list?

I take it the DNF book wasn’t as good the 2nd time around? Hope you enjoy your upcoming books and have a great week.

    1. Unfortunately yup. It was kind of disappointing because I really want to love it the 2nd time around too.

  2. Oh Little House! I haven’t read those books in years but I keep seeing people mention them! Maybe it’s time for a re-read …

    1. I hope you get a chance to reread them soon.

  3. Wow congrats on sticking to your list! I’m terrible at doing anything like that! Have a great week and happy reading!

    1. Thank you. I’m usually terrible too but it’s because I forget which books I want to read.

  4. I hope you enjoy the books on your TBR list for the month! I loved both Since you’ve been gone and This is where it ends. Obviously, they are both very different books, but they both have their pros. I will be buying Stars Above. Not sure I will be able to read it this month, but I will get to it as soon as I can. I love Marissa Meyer. Happy reading!

    1. Yay! I’m happy to hear that you loved both of those books. I haven’t heard much about This is Where it Ends but I’ve heard a lot of positive things about Since You’ve Been Gone. Happy to meet another Marissa Meyer fan. 🙂 Hope you are able to get to Stars Above soon.

  5. Wow that’s some amazing books you got this week! I can’t wait to read Passenger myself! I hope you enjoy them all. Happy reading 🙂

    1. Thank you Sofia! I loved Passenger, it was such a great read. Hope you enjoy the book as well.

  6. I stopped by a couple oif your reviews. I adore the Little House books. Did you know they are making a movie? Have a wonderful week. 🙂

    1. Thank you. No I didn’t, but I heard about it earlier this week. I’m not sure about watching it when it comes out though since I didn’t like the TV adaptation much. Will you be watching the movie when it comes out?

      1. I will probably be going to the movie because my sister is a huge Little House fan (of both the books and tv series), and I am sure none of her teenage sons will want to go with her. Hehe. 🙂

  7. Sounds like you have some great upcoming reads this month. I’m going to get my reading pile ready after I finish visiting the Sunday Posts. Last week I was MIA, so catching up today is my main goal. 🙂
I hope you have a great week! 😉

    1. Thank you Maureen! You can do it. 🙂
