Sunday Post (155) / Stacking the Shelves (135)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

This week work was busy because of the holiday on Monday. On top of that I got sick over the weekend so it wasn’t a really fun week. On weeks like that it made me wish I was a kid again. Or maybe not. There’s too many restrictions as a kid. The only thing that was good this week was that it was the authors list was up for YALLWEST and I’m excited and kind of overwhelmed of all the authors attending (like how can you even choose??). It was a small event last year, but I guess it got a really good response that the list expanded. All I need now is the LA Times Festival of Books authors list to be up so I can plan.

  1. I’m sorry you haven’t been feeling well, Jackie, and I hope you’re back in good health now! Getting only one book sounds like a dream, and I hope you’ll enjoy it.
Have a wonderful week ahead, happy reading.

    1. Thank you.

  2. Being sick really sucks. I hope you’re feeling better soon!
    Have a great week 😉

    1. It does and thanks.

  3. I hate being sick! All I want to do is sleep and I don’t get too. I hope you’re feeling better! YALLWEST sounds fun. I hope you enjoy it and have a great week!

    1. Right? Even when you’re sick the sleeping doesn’t happen because you keep waking up by blowing your nose.

  4. Oh my goodness, I had Monday off for the holiday and then was home with a sick kid on Wednesday. I swear it was the longest week ever. Anyways, I’ve been thinking about adding Lori Foster’s Ultimate series to my TBR pile, so I checked out your review of the 4th book. I think I might have to give these a read.

    1. Oh no! I hope your kid is well. It sounds like we both had a long week.

Ah, I’m going to YALLWEST ! I went last year & I had a blast! I’m probably going to both days! It would be so awesome if we saw each other 😀

    1. Yay! I only went for a day last year, but I’m glad that you had a blast on both days. It would be awesome if that happened. 🙂

Oh, no, last year I only went one day 🙂 THIS year I might be going both. (It mainly depends on the schedule!)
