Sunday Post (161) / Stacking the Shelves (141)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

How is it possible that it’s April? Seriously, could this year go by any faster? This week has been a crazy weather week. It rained on and off all Monday and then blistering cold winds Tuesday (plus more on and off rain) and Wednesday, and now it’s more spring weather. The warm kind and not the cold kind. I don’t know how to dress for this crazy weather any more. I’m hoping that next weekend will be sunny, but not too sunny because it’s the LA Times Festival of Books. Super stoked to meet all the authors. Though to be honest I’m a little more excited about YALLWEST this year than the Festival of Books.

  1. The weather is crazy. It’s going to be warmer here today, but we have rain and it is super cloudy here. You never know what to expect.

    1. That is so true. I wish the weather can be a little more predictable sometimes. It’s always good to be prepared.

  2. Our weather has been crazy, too! I think what gets to me the most is the drastic temp changes during the day – from like 40-75 within hours. lol

I’ve had my eye on Wink Poppy Midnight! Hope you love it!

  3. Ive been meaning to read the forbidden orchid. I hope you enjoy both of your reads.

  5. Our weather is experiencing split personality disorders, too. The weather report last night has us this coming week going from 40s to 90 most days. Happy reading!

  8. The LA Festival of Books sounds amazing! I know nothing about it but anything called the Festival of Books has got to be great! I hate dressing this time of year. Everything is either way too hot or way too cold.
