Sunday Post (167) / Stacking the Shelves (147)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

Yesterday was my birthday and it was a quiet birthday. I didn’t do a whole lot because I had work, which wasn’t too bad but it was definitely a busy afternoon. To make up for the I have to work on my birthday I am planning on going to Vogue Knitting Live today. It’s actually my first time going to a non-book and anime event and I’m kind of looking forward to it. I didn’t get any book related things unless you count an annual pass to Universal Studios, which means I can go to the Wizarding World as much as I want. Sometims I wish my family got me book related things instead, but they don’t because they know I’m constantly going to the bookstore and buying all the books anyways.

  3. Happy belated birthday! I agree with the previous commenter: I’m a little jealous of your annual passes! I haven’t had a chance to visit the Wizarding World yet but I’m hoping to next year. We’re planning a summer vacation that includes Disney and Universal in the mix. Enjoy Vogue Knitting Live! 😀

    my Sunday Post

    1. Thank you! Secretly I would be happy with just a day pass though.

  9. I want to go to the Wizarding World so bad! I wish I lived near to either of the parks. I have a former student who lives in Orlando, and I so want to ask her if I could stay with her and go to a book convention down there, but I figure that’s not really a good thing. Happy birthday!
    Check out my Sunday Post

    1. I live closer to the Wizarding World than Disneyland, but the funny thing is I don’t go to either amusement parks often because the tickets are crazy expensive. Asking never hurts. The worse she do is say no.
