Sunday Post (181) / Stacking the Shelves (161)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

Sometimes book to movie adaptation leave me confused. I watched Allegiant earlier this week and I don’t even remember half of the stuff that happened in the movie happened in the book. And the ending left me with a is there going to be a part 2 like they did for Mockingjay because as much as I like happily ever afters the book ending for Allegiant was different than the movie. And it doesn’t say part 1 on the DVD. But, overall I liked it and basically just used it as background noise for when I was knitting. Though after watching this it did make me feel like rereading the series so I have that going on. I also have Zootopia next to watch and I heard that one was pretty good.

  1. I haven’t seen a really wonderful movie in I-don’t-know-when. What’s with that?!

Here’s my Sunday Post. Consider yourself happiness-tagged. Or not. As you so wish.

    1. I hope you watch something good soon! 🙂

  2. Definitely watch Zootopia!! It’s so freak’n adorable!

    1. Didn’t know what to expect from this movie, but it totally was.

  3. I use TV a lot for background noise too. I am more of a TV addict than a movie viewer.

    1. I hardly watch TV series, but I use both as background noise to keep company.

  4. I wasn’t sure I’d like Zootopia. I had a feeling that all the good parts were in the trailer but it was really good. I’m an animal lover so I was laughing at all the quirks that certain animals have.

    1. I don’t really pay attention to movie trailers until I’ve seen the movie and go ooh yeah that part was in that one scene. Yay! I’m glad you enjoyed their quirkiness. I especially enjoyed the DMV scene, it cracked me up so much.

  5. I use the tv for background noise too. That’s why I often choose something I’ve alreadt seen while blogging or housecleaning.

    1. That’s a good idea. I’m sure you’ve memorized a lot of the shows already by now.

  6. I use the TV as background noise A LOT. I use it more as noise and distraction than actually watching. I really have to be in the mood to “watch” something and it typically has to be something new I haven’t seen to retain my attention.

    1. I’m the opposite. I get curious about what’s going on, even if it’s an old show that I’ve seen before a couple of times already, so I end up getting sucked into the show and get distracted by it instead of doing the thing I’m supposed to be doing.

  7. Yeah, I don’t know if I’ll ever watch Allegiant, other than maybe to see Four. I’ve been using the tv more for background noise lately as well. So I can read or blog or play on the computer. 🙂 Have a great week!
    Check out my Sunday Post

  8. I tend to use TV as background noise as well. I’ve heard good things about Zootopia. It looks so cute! Have a great week!

    1. Have you seen Zootopia yet? It was definitely cute.
