Sunday Post (182) / Stacking the Shelves (162)

sundaypostThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

The weather is supposed to cool down for a bit for the long weekend, but it still feels like summer weather. I’m anticipating for fall. Speaking of fall one of my favorite tea places, David’s Tea, has their fall collection out already and of course I had to stock up on some more of their seasonal pumpkin chai tea despite having still a good amount left in my stash from last year. I’m not a fan of pumpkin drinks a la pumpkin spiced lattes from Starbucks that people get hyped up about, but I had this one last year from a sample they sent with an order and I accidentally kind of fell in love with it. Do you have a favorite fall/holiday drink? Hope you all have a good week.

  1. I still haven’t seen Zootopia, but my aunt talked about it quite a bit. Isn’t it funny when you recognize actors you’re familiar with in their voice overs?

  2. I haven’t seen Zootopia, I have been so focused on my new blog that I don’t think I’ve seen a movie all year.

I don’t read very many non scifi/fantasy books, but I have been eyeing P.S. I Like You. It looks really cute.

  3. Zootopia was adorable, but I was watching it with my husband, and he just had so many questions – if the predators don’t eat the prey anymore, what do they eat?? Cats are obligate carnivores, they must have meat in their diets, so do they grow it in labs or something? That’s what you get for watching a movie with an engineer, they’re always so practical! 😉
