Sunday Post (189) / Stacking the Shelves (169)

sundaypostThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

The weather has finally been cooling down and feeling like fall here in LA. I’m pretty excited about the rain that’s supposed to be happening in a few days, but at the same time I’m not looking forward to catching the bus when it’s raining. This week has been pretty good. There’s still a lot of books that needs to be shelved and we’ve been moving books around in the teen center so you can probably guess that I’ve been distracted by all the YA books as we’re moving things at work. Then again I’m always distracted by the YA books whenever I shelve them so it’s not much of a difference.

  1. Oooo, three stars to The Problem with Forever. 😮 Honestly I don’t think that one is for me (and I love JLA’s books), so I’ve been avoiding it! I’m not going to read it. YA tough-issue contemporary is just not for me, most of the time. :/ I loved The Midnight Star and Six of Crows though! I still need to read Crooked Kingdom though. 😀 I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

    Have a lovely week. =)

  2. I think shelving would be so hard! I’d be tempted to at least read the blurb on every book I touched and probably would want to start reading most of them! We haven’t had rain in ages and none is forecasted for awhile so I’m kind of looking forward to it! Though I can definitely see the downside when having to catch a bus. Have a great week!

  3. I envy the ability to shelve books, but would not be very good at it myself. I would get too caught up in all these lovely books! Oooh, what’s this one about? Let me just set that aside to checkout. I’d be checking out more books than shelving!
