Sunday Post (206) / Stacking the Shelves (186)

sundaypostThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello lovelies! Cyn here!

Jackie is on holidays (to somewhere nice and warm! Jealous!) so you guys are stuck with me for a while! I can’t believe it’s already February! So I’ve been working at my new job for about 3 weeks now and it’s a bit of a learning curve, but a good experience so far! I started playing dodgeball and I think I’m getting better each week, ha. Good at dodging, not so good at throwing.

Hmm, I’m trying to decide on what to watch next on Netflix. I just finished Galavant and I’ve sort of started Lovesick. I was thinking maybe Santa Clarita Diet – I loved the Bodybreak commerical for it! Oh and I finally watched La La Land! Loved the music so much!

Hope everyone’s having a fantastic February!

  1. Wheee, check out your great selection of books! I can’t wait to finally read Traitor to the Throne. I think Nick is reading that Bell book – I haven’t read the first book in the series, but I might read this one. I hope you enjoy all of your new books, Cyn!

    Have a wonderful weekend. =)

  2. I’m so excited for Traitor to the Throne! Book one was so incredible!! I hope we both enjoy it!

  3. I just finished reading the Lenora Bell book and I really enjoyed it though probably not as much as the first two. I’m looking forward to seeing what you think of Traitor to the Throne. Happy reading, Cyn!

  4. Dodge ball sounds so fun! I used to love to play that in school. You got some great books! I hope you enjoy them.

  5. The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet sounds like a good one. Looks like you got some good books this week!

  7. It looks like you have been having a great week. Hope you are learning a ton with the new job, new jobs can bring on mixed emotions. I am the same way with Dodgeball. I can last till the very end, however it pretty ridiculous when I can’t throw worth anything hehe

enjoy Guhrke’ and Bell’s books. Love both of those authors and such pretty covers.

  8. I would love to be somewhere nice and warm 🙂 Glad your job is going well so far! I am trying to decide what to watch on Netflix myself. LaLa Land was so good and I loved the music too! Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

  9. Yay pretty new reads and man I’m jealous of Jackie’s vacation. Ha!

  10. I liked dodgeball growing up, but I loved matball more (a mix of dodgeball and baseball). I am still heralded with the lasting great slide into home base, with the dodgeball hitting my elbow. Pants blown out, ugly floor burn down my leg. Ah, the good old days of the game. I hope you’re enjoying dodgeball! Each day will get better at work. It takes time, but glad you’re enjoying it.
