Sunday Post (70) / Stacking the Shelves (50)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

The sun has finally decided to come back, yay sunlight! Which meant I had no excuse to not go running. So I managed a few short runs, but I’m definitely still a bit out of shape for the Dirty Donkey run next Saturday, but that’s okay! Hmm, been watching lots of documentaries on Netflix, otherwise nothing too interesting.

Book haul - Netgalley Jun 3

Yay! I’m so excited for all three books! Manda Collins’ book is the last in the series, and I’ve been waiting for this couple since book one! Also, more Lori Foster! This is her new (MMA) series where book 1 (No Limits) features Cannon, the super awesome guy we’ve been seeing in her Love Undercover series. Hard Knocks in the novella prequel. I meant to save those for closer to August but I have no will power and already powered Hard Knocks and I’m almost done No Limits, haha.

Check ittttt! It’s LANDLINE! I’m so excited for more Rainbow Rowell! I thought this book didn’t come out until July 8th, but I got my email for Indigo saying it was ready for pick-up! So year pre-ordering I guess? haha. But seriously, it’s so gorgeous.

    My Sunday Post!

    1. I KNOW RIGHT! :’) Rainbow Rowell is definitely worth breaking genres for! Hopefully it’s amazing!

  3. Oh, so it’s you who stole our sun !!! There’s nothing but rain here, these last couple of days. Enjoy your books and have a great week !

    1. Muahaha! Though actually it ended up raining later today. I must of jinx it ): haha. Thanks!

  4. I unsubscribed from Netflix a while ago, thinking I won’t need it during the summer, but I MISS IT… SO MUCH! Especially watching documentaries because those are ones that I never really buy on DVD because their generally quite expensive.
I am so jealous of Landline – I can’t WAIT to read it.
    Have a good week!

    1. Oh no, Netflix can be a terrible addiction, haha. Oh yes! I definitely love Netflix for all the documentaries, I just binge watch them and very true, I don’t ever want to spend a ton of money on them.
      Thanks! So excited for Landline!

  5. YAY for Rainbow Rowell. I have Fangirl that I still need to read. I’m excited to get around to it but have some ARCs to knock out first! Hope you have a great week!

I have No Limits on my stack too. I’m on the blog tour to review it on Sept. 11. I’m eager to read it too but there are lots of books in line ahead of it. Come see what I got this week at Ms. Martin Teaches Media and Inside of a Dog. Happy reading!

    1. Awesome! Hope you get to read it soon! I had no patients and started it already, haha.

  7. We have just enough rain to make me think I’m going to have a lazy reading rainy day and then the sun comes out. I’d love one or the other. Glad you’re enjoying the sun! It’s always nice to see it after lots of grey days. Yay for Rainbow Rowell. I’m really looking forward to reading Landline. Hope you enjoy it and have a great week!

    1. Haha, we’ve been getting a mix of sunny/rainy days all in one, too! It’s very confusing, haha. Thanks!

  8. I’m all for the lovely cover on the Lori Foster 🙂 Hope you enjoy Landline, haven’t heard about it yet, so let us know how you get on.

    1. Hehee, Lori Foster does have pretty awesome covers! Thanks, I’m excited for Landline because it’s Rainbow Rowell. She’s definitely worth checking out, she does both adult and YA books (:

  9. Good luck with the run, glad the sun has been out. I tried to click on your instagram icon to make sure I was following you but it doesn’t work. I think I am though, LOL

    1. Thanks! Oh and I fixed the link, thanks for the heads up! I believe we are already following each other (:

  10. YAY for Landline! I haven’t read that one but I loved Fangirl and I know how popular the author is 😀 I see a historical romance novel there! I actually have two historical romance reviews coming up on my blog tomorrow and Tuesday – finally! July 29th is a huge day for those good old historical romance books. I have like five of them total O_O

Anyway. Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a fabulous week, Cyn!

Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!

    1. I’m hoping it lives up the Rainbow Rowell expectation!
I will have to swing by and check them out! July 29th is a very popular date for HR, haha.

  11. Ha, the last time I went running was in high school. Good luck! Landline! Okay, I still haven’t read any of hers, but she’s coming to the UK in July so I’m picking up Fangirl in Waterstones to get signed. 🙂 And yay for pre-ordering, definitely the way to go, most of the time you get them earlier that way. 😉

    1. Thanks!
Oh lucky! I hope you enjoy Fangirl! I know I was scared to read it at first, but it ended up being totally worth it 😉 haha.

  12. You just make me sound bad! No running, watching True Blood. Lol.

Landlineeeeee! Rainbow Rowelllll! How exciting! Definite yay for preordering! 🙂

    1. Haha, if it makes you feel better, I think I spend more time watching Suits than I’ve actually ran this summer!
      Definitely yaaaay for preorders!
