 BOOK HAUL

STSmall_thumb25255B225255DStacking the Shelves post! Hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, Stacking the Shelves is a chance to showcase new books, ones checked out from the library, bought, won or received for review.

Do textbooks count? They’re never really that exciting though…and usually cost an arm and a leg sadly :/ But my Trail’s Guide is pretty cool.

Oh and I got Sex and the Single Fireman…there’s a story behind this. It was a birthday gift! And while I’m not embarrassed to say I love romantic novels, I am a bit embarrassed about the covers sometimes (I even did a whole post about it, which S&TSF actually got featured lol). Anyway, it’s become a running joke between my friends that we buy each other books with the most embarrassing covers possible (and technically we’re only suppose to read them in public ;)) . It’s usually hilarious and embarrassing all around (since someone has to buy it and explain it to cashier it’s a gift in which then the cashier replies with a “that’s what they all say.”)

The Hook Up - Kristen Callihan

The Hook Up by Kristen Callihan

Thanks to the publishers for this! I’m excited to read this one because I adore Kristen Callihan’s Darkest London series (like reaaaaallly love it, I’ve reviewed basically the entire series if you guys are curious about it!), and while that series is PNR, and this is contemporary NA, I still can’t wait to check it out!

Book haul - Lorraine Heath

Scandalous Gentlemen of St. James series #1-2 by Lorraine Heath
Scoundrels of St. James series #1-4 by Lorraine Heath

Apparently I’m really feeling Lorraine Heath right now, haha. I just read When the Duke was Wicked not too long ago and really enjoyed it, and Once More, My Darling Rogue just came out so I definitely had to read that. And when I found out that the Scandalous Gentlemen series was about the children of the couples in Scoundrels of St. James, I had to go back and see how the parents got together! I can’t not know!

  14. Good luck with the new school year and yes, textbooks count! I get embarrassed with some of the covers and titles of the romance books I read so it’s good I read on a Nook. Seeing all the historical romance you have read makes me want to read one. It has been a while since I have so I think I need to change that. Have a great week!!
