Sunday Post (86) / Stacking the Shelves (66)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello! Jackie here,

It’s been a whirlwind of a week, but one thing is for sure I’ve finally finished with the Percy Jackson reread and exciting to start the Blood of Olympus. Reading the final book of a series makes me sad and exciting at the same time. Sad because it’s over and you know there is going to be any more books and excited to see everything wrapped up. For me, the best kind of endings are happy endings. What are your favorite series that you have read And are you satisfy with the ending?

  1. Great two books you got – I haven’t heard of Confessions but that is a really powerful cover and awesome you got The Young Elites! I’ve heard it’s good and I love Marie Lu. Have a lovely week!

  2. Great haul! i am reading The Young Elites right now and it is good so far!

  3. I was happy with the Lost Souls Trilogy and Potter series. Confessions looks interesting. Enjoy them Jackie!

  4. I keep seeing The Blood of Olympus and it does make me want to read those. 🙂 As for series endings… I think Lord of the Rings might be my favorite, such a bittersweet ending but essentially a happy one. Slated was a series I liked, and the end was fine but not super noteworthy or anything. Most of the rest of the series that come to mind are still in progress… it will be years. LOL.

  5. Can’t wait to read The Young Elites!
When I reach the end of a series it’s bitterswwet. I can’t wait to see how it ends but I’ll miss the characters and their world. Everything has to end though:)

  6. I have yet to read any of Rick Riordian’s books but he’s on my authors to read list in increasingly large letters so I will be getting to him soon. I loved your short review this week! I’ve heard good things about The Young Elites so hope you enjoy it. Have a great week!

  7. I loved The Young Elites so much! That ending though O_O Good luck with all things academic-related! We got this, girl. I hope you enjoy all of your new books, and have a fabulous week!

    Thanks for visiting my blog!

  8. Aw, it’s always sad to finish a good series. Glad you had a good week, and great haul.

  9. I’ve finished Blood of Olympus and yeah you’re right, it’s a bit sad. I just received The Young Elites. ♥

  10. I see The Young Elites EVERYWHERE and I’m definitely curious about it! I’ve heard it’s so much darker than Legend…eeep. NEED. *glares at TBR* Probably after I whittle down some of the books I have no though.
