The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

I hope you all had a lovely bookish (or non-bookish) week. It’s finally raining in LA and it feels different. a nice different since we get sunshine all the time here (you can even go to the beach on Christmas). Though it’s kind of a hassle because that means I have to sort through my coats and find my umbrella. What have you guys been up to? Have you read anything good? And since Christmas is right around the corner…do you usually give books for Christmas?

With Christmas just around the corner I’m trying to save money by not buying books. However, I did pick up a book because I was excited about it and the blurb sounded really really cool.

  1. We got some rain up here too. Very much needed rain. I bought ATPoY a couple weeks ago but still haven’t read it. Have a great week!

  2. No rain here, just plain ol’ sunshine which kind of matches my mood now since exams are over! I usually don’t buy books for people for Christmas because none of my friends or family really read all that much. 🙁 I have been eyeing A Thousand Pieces of You for the longest while but I have not purchased it yet! The cover is so gorgeous! Have a nice week, Jackie! 🙂

  3. I absolutely love the cover for A Thousand Pieces of You, I just want to hold it and pet it *clears throat* anyways, I hope you enjoy it and have a good week 🙂

  4. I reviewed A Thousand Pieces of You this past week. I enjoyed it which says a lot since I’m not normally a big fan of time travel/multiple universe type books. Hope you enjoy it too!

  5. It’s been rainy and cold here in the Midwest..blah. Though this week it did warm up to around the mid 50’s so for Dec. that is not to bad. 🙂 I do give books for Christmas if I know that person likes books. I like to receive books but it’s easier for me if I tell them to just get me a GC so I can get my

    Happy reading!

  6. I love a good rainy day. They’re perfect for curling up with a book. I’ve heard great things about A Thousand Pieces of You so hope you love it. I do like giving books for Christmas and I love getting them though I normally mostly ask for cookbooks. Have a great week!

  7. A Thousand Pieces of you is sooooo pretty. I’ve heard people rave about it and then loathe it, lol, so I don’t really know what to think of the actual book but COVER LOVE SO MUCH.

  8. Yay, so glad to hear you bought A Thousand Pieces, I can’t wait to hear what you think about it! There are mixed reviews but I personally loved it. Have a fantastic week ahead Jackie!
