When life backs you into a corner and offers you no escape, when your friends, your love, and your family abandon you, when you’re at the end of your rope, panicked, alone, and losing your mind, you know you’d give anything to make your problems go away. Then, desperate and eager, you will come to Unicorn Lane, seeking salvation in its magics and secrets. You’ll do anything, pay any price. Unicorn Lane will take you in, shroud you in its power, fix your problems, and exact its price. And then you will learn what “anything” really means.

For someplace as magical and happy sounding as “Unicorn Lane”, it sure does seem like a sinister place. Of course that means Kate has to go there. What kind of story would this be if she avoided the sinister place during her quest for vengeance and answers? A boring one.

  1. I just finished the 4th book about an hour ago … omg, SO GOOD! This series really does get better and better.

    1. This series is so great! I’ve been powering through the series over the last few days and I have no regrets. 😉

  2. And here I thought Unicorn Lane sounded kind of glittery….then I looked at the cover and thought NOOOPE. SOUNDS LIKE A BAD IDEA, GIRL. XD Loved this teaser!

    1. RIGHT?? I thought it sounded like a happy place (or someplace Charlie the Unicorn & co would visit), but nope!

  3. I have this one to read. This is one author on my will read in 2015 list..lol.

    1. Definitely do!! This is such a great series! ;D

  4. Sounds like an action-filled story. Unicorn Lane sounds like a place to avoid if possible!
My Tuesday post features LEARNIN’ THE ROPES.

    1. Definitely action filled. The protagonist appreciates a good fight, and it’s awesome!

  5. I love the title. And anything with a lion on the cover makes me think of Narnia.

Happy New Year! I have a quote from a Grisham legal thriller this week:

    1. Lions = Narnia. I understand. 😉

  6. I have this series marked to include in a reading challenge so I’ll finally get started on it!

  7. Sooo excited to start this series! I sorta wanna live on Unicorn Lane, but like a sparkly rainbow magic version, not the scary sinister version, haha.

    1. Do itttttt. And let me know what you think. 😉
