Micah laughs under his breath. “All the ladies love the mohawk.” Turning to me, he lowers his chin so the top of his head is in my face. “You can touch it, now that I’m prepared.”

“Seriously? Like a pity group? No thanks,” I say drily, trying to ignore the fluttering in my chest.

“Touch it,” he whispers. “You know you want to.”  (59% eARC Kindle)

Did I mention how much I adored Micah and his mohawk? Because he’s freak’n adorable. But seriously this book is so much fun and so cute! Definitely tops for YA contemporary reads this year! Review probably the end of this week (:

‘She can shoot like a dream and she carries tiny grenades in her top’, a bit of my addle minded thought. I think I might be in love. (11% Kindle)

We were relying on half-understood technology built from studying mystifying creatures who didn’t even know how they did what they did themselves. We were like deaf people trying to dance to a beat we couldn’t hear, long after the music actually stopped. Or…wait. I don’t know what that actually was suppose to mean. (39% Kindle).

I’m so glad I finally read this! Because this book just cracks me up. Watching David try to win over a girl and shoot out his ridiculous metaphors, is just amazing. Also, book is full action, too! Win, win all around.

Kim here also loved this book, so if you want more teasers or to check out a review, remember to check hers out!
