“I should have been glad for his cold dismissal. If Griz could perceive our connection by peering into my eyes, others might too. It was best that we not look at each other at all, but the pull was still there, and the more I avoided him, the more the burn grew in me. All I wanted to do was turn and watch him.” (40% eARC)
“Her death cost him nothing. It will now. Every day that I breath, I will make it cost him something. Every time I see that same smug grin on his face, I will make him pay for it.”
She dumped her winnings on the bed and looked back at me. “So the short answer to your question, Kaden, is no. It’s not enough. It will never be enough.” (44% eARC )
\o/! I love that Lia has totally gotten super badass and sassy in this book! Also, the romance in this book is a killa. My poor heart.

When Maddie prepared for bed behind her screen that night, she emerged to find the most terrible sight yet.
“Oh, really, Logan. That’s just unfair.”
He looked up from his reclined pose in her bedroom chaise longue, his face partly hidden behind a book bound in dark green leather. “What?”
“You’re reading Pride and Prejudice?”
He shrugged. “I found it on your bookshelf.” (58% eARC Kindle)
“”Let’s have a look at your tatties, then.”
She blushed and crossed her arms over her chest. “What? Now? Here?”
“Not those. Your tatties. The potatoes, mo chiride.”
“Oh.” She bit her lips. “I did think it was a bit early in the day for that.” (86% eARC Kindle)
This book was fabuloussssss! So ridiculously adorbs, it just makes me giggle. These were probably my favourite quotes, but there’s seriously soooo many good moments! Just love Logan and Maddie.
Everyone needs to read this series ASAP. (Review to come!)
