I’m pretty sure she was trying to throw me under the bus until the guards made it clear she’d be joining me there. Still, I can’t really blame her – it as a tight spot, and all’s fair in love, war, and criminal trespassing.

“Gideon,” I whisper, unable to speak above a whisper. “This is a bad idea.”

“I know.” His eyes don’t move from my face, scanning my features, lingering on my eyes, my lips. “Just let it be a bad idea a few more moments from now.” He lowers his head his lips are soft, brushing mine once-than again, lingering a little longer. pressing a little closer.

I loved this book, so much it made in on my TOP TEN of 2015 Best Reads, Best Couples and Best Book Boyfriends lists! (see them for full list and more quotes!). This book was such a lovely read and I’m sad that it’s over. I really liked Gideon and Sofia. Full review soon!

“Do you need assistance carrying her round to the inn?”

“No.” King’s response was clipped. He could carry his own imposter wife himself, dammit. (eARC 29% Kindle)

It was only than that Sophie recalled that the doctor was also handsome. Of course. Because when it rained, it poured, and Sophie – who’d never held a handsome gentleman’s attention for longer than the half second it took him to realize she as not the lady he sought – was bedridden and unwashed when saddled with two of them. She was doomed. (eARC 30% Kindle)

Happy Release day to THE ROGUE NOT TAKEN! This book made me very, very, happy. Loved the banter between King and Sophie. So much shenanigans! Also review soon!

(This made Best Couples and Best Book Boyfriends, and honourable mentions in Best Reads!)

    1. Both are awesome reads! Their Fractured Light is kind of intense, haha.
      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Both of these sound intriguing, and for totally different reasons. I think I’d lean toward The Rogue Not Taken first. Here’s my intro and teaser: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-15Z

    1. The Rogue Not Taken is a great romance, I highly recommend it!

  3. I love the teaser you shared from Their Fractured Light–so romantic. And your other one, from A Rogue Not Taken, has me giggling. That’s too funny. I really need to give Sarah McLean a try.

    1. The beginning of The Rogue not Taken is hilarious! You should definitely check out Sarah MacLean!

  4. The Rogue Not Taken sounds a really fun read for the holiday period – maybe I could take a break from some of the grim fantasy I’ve recently been reading… For something completely different – and awesome – my TT is The Just City by Jo Walton: https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2015/12/29/teaser-tuesdays-29th-dec/

    1. If you need something cute and romantic (and sometimes slightly angsty, haha), The Rogue not Taken is the book for you 😉 It’s definitely worth checking out!

      1. Thank you for the extra info – I’ll definitely check it out in the early New Year – I do love my fantasy and sci fi, but at times it does get a tad grim. And with the weather chiming in, I could do with a dash of something lighter!

    1. Both are totally awesome! Thanks for stopping by (:
