Uninvited - Sophie JordonUninvited by Sophie Jordon

I touch my brother’s arm, sliding my hand down to his. “No running, Mitchell. I’ve got stay.”

He steps back until he collides with the wall. His face scrunches up and a choked cry breaks loose, rattles from his chest. He slides down the wall until he hits the floor. I watch as he buries his face into his hands. I feel every one of his jagged sobs like a claw-swipe to my heart. (60% eARC Kindle)

Uninvited was an interesting read, there’s definitely some moments that really get to you. I liked that Davy and Mitchell had a strong sister-brother relationship. Still loving the double helix in her hair on the cover! Review for this at the end of the week!

<<Jennifer to Beth>> What’s that?

<<Beth to Jennifer>> It’s the Cute Guy Alarm

<<Jennifer to Beth>> It sounds like a bird.

<<Beth to Jennifer>> There’s a cute guy working here.

<<Jennifer to Beth>> No, there isn’t.

<<Beth to Jennifer>>I know, that was my first response, too. I thought he must have come in from the outside, a repairman, perhaps, or a consultant. That’s why I waited for two confirmed sighting before sounding the Cute Guy Alarm.

I jumped on the Rainbow Rowell bandwagon.

Okay, this book oooozes cute. I  love Beth and Jennifer’s emails.  I wish there was a cute guy alarm. Maybe I’ll have to adapt this for real life…

Probably a review for this at the end of the week, too!
