The Sunday Post (60) / Stacking the Shelves (39)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hi all!  It’s Easter weekend and I hope you guys are having a good time with your family. Unfortunately I had to work on Saturday so it’s not much of a weekend for me, but I get to be surrounded by all the books so I’m okay with that. Last week I did go to the LA Times Festival of Books and it was so much fun meeting Kim and all the authors (I got to meet Marissa Meyer!!!). It was a bit crowded and my feet are still recovering from the ache, but it was so worth it. Happy Easter!

  1. Happy Easter, have a great week !

    1. Thanks and you too!

  2. Hi Jakie , can I ask how u get Ebooks from the library. Is it your local library or you get it from website …. Thanks

    1. Hi! I get my ebooks through my local library’s website. They have this software called Overdrive and you just click on it and it’ll direct you to all the ebooks your library is offering. Once you see a book you like, you can send a request for it and download from there. Sometimes it’s automatic, but sometimes you have to wait for the email saying that it’s ready for you to download. You also have to have the adobe reader thing in order to be able to load it onto your ereader. Hope this answer your question. 🙂

  3. I’m curious to see what you think of The Winner’s Curse, this one is getting a lot of buzz right now!

    1. Yeah, there’s been a lot of hype around The Winner’s Curse and curious about the reason. But, definitely hoping it’s as good as everyone been saying about it. 🙂

  4. OMG I’m so jealous about the LA Times Festival of Books, I love stuff like that, did you do some pictures you can share? Gosh, I can imagine how your feet must have hurt.
Have a great week and Happy Reading.
