Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up with Bookmunchies. This is our weekly update that combines Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer‘s SUNDAY POST and Tynga’s Reviews‘ STACKING THE SHELVES. This is a post to share news, to recap the week on the blog, share new reads and new books, and upcoming fun for the week ahead!
Hey guys, Jackie here,
Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers out there. And also, happy birthday to me. Another year older, which I’m sure how to feel about that. It is my last year in my 20s and every time I think about hitting my 30s next year I’m panicking because I still don’t have a clue what to do with the rest of my life. Do I want to go back to school? Do I want to get a new job? Why am I not writing that novel that I said I would publish when I was 20? Maybe it’s why I like reading YA fiction so much because it makes me forget that I’m getting older and gonna get wrinkles and grey hair and stressing out over my first grey hair. Ahhh!! Anyways I went to Universal Studios Hollywood yesterday and I seriously need to use my pass more before it expires soon. I’m thinking of getting a new one when that happens because it’s so easy to hop on the train and be able to get there in about an hour unlike Disneyland where according to my friend it takes 3 hours by bus to get there as opposed to an hour drive, but we’ll see. As for birthday plans it’s just another Sunday, possibly sleeping in and hitting the bookstore later? Or maybe trying out a new boba place. Ahhh…the possibilities.

Here at Bookmunchies we believe in being surprises for the week
(aka. we procrastinate, so we can’t tell you what’s quite coming up yet).
Nothing for this week because I got so many from the book festivals. Though I did place a hold for a couple of books at work so hopefully those will be in soon.
