Weekly Wrap Up (14)

Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up with Bookmunchies. This is our weekly update that combines Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer‘s SUNDAY POST and Tynga’s Reviews‘ STACKING THE SHELVES. This is a post to share news, to recap the week on the blog, share new reads and new books, and upcoming fun for the week ahead!

Hey guys, Jackie here,

How is it possible that we’re in June already? 2017 is going by so fast and it feels like nothing really big happened yet…though I’m not really sure what I’m expecting from this year. Despite the summer reading program coming up at work soon, I’m looking forward to summer. Definitely excited for some upcoming events in July. Work was a bit busy this week because of the holiday on Monday and it doesn’t help that the librarians put up a countdown to when the summer reading program starts because it’s always a bit more stressful during those months. Though I’m always looking forward to the decoration they put up. I think this year’s theme is Reading by Design, which is a bit vague in my opinion, but you don’t have to pick out books to read in that particular theme. The goal is to read. I should probably set a reading list for the summer, but I give up after the first week. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

  1. I’m so jealous that you guys are heading into summer, but it sounds like you had a hectic time! WE had a lot of public holidays in Australia during April and it was so hectic. Anyway, I hope you have a great week Jackie!

    1. I definitely didn’t like the heat in Australia when I visited earlier this year (too humid), but you guys should be in winter now, right? Hopefully you won’t get tons of rainy days and that you enjoyed your holidays and did something fun even though it was hectic.

  2. I know. This year is a blur already and nothing much big happening for me either. Some of my favorite shows are coming back this month and some books I pre-ordered should be in my mailbox soon though.
