Weekly Wrap Up (17)

Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up with Bookmunchies. This is our weekly update that combines Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer‘s SUNDAY POST and Tynga’s Reviews‘ STACKING THE SHELVES. This is a post to share news, to recap the week on the blog, share new reads and new books, and upcoming fun for the week ahead!

Hey guys, Jackie here,

Summer is here and the forecast is nothing but sunshine all day everyday. Okay it was insanely hot for like two days but after we even got a bit of drizzle (??), according to my mom. Anyways I also survived the first week of the summer reading program and I’m already looking forward to the end of it. There hasn’t been anything interesting happening lately except I’m kind of excited for anime expo next weekend since they’ll be showing a small preview of the new Cardcaptor Sakura anime that’s coming out next year. So because of that I’ve been wanting to get a pair of new shoes. I love my nikes, however I just want a really good pair of comfy slip on sometimes without having to worrying about shoelaces. I don’t know what is it about summer and new shoes, but I always seem to be wanting new shoes during the summer.

Nice post on summer reading. I definitely feel like certain kinds of books in the summer, even though I’m not a seasonal reader per se. Just something about summer. 🙂

  2. Cool! Good luck in the Expo 🙂 bound to be fun.
Have a great reading week 🙂

  3. I’m a barefoot or flip flops gal. LOL Good thing we have long summers and short, mild winters here.I do tend to read different genres in different seasons but it’s not something I consciously plan.
