Weekly Wrap Up (50)

Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up with Bookmunchies. This is our weekly update that combines Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer‘s SUNDAY POST and Tynga’s Reviews‘ STACKING THE SHELVES. This is a post to share news, to recap the week on the blog, share new reads and new books, and upcoming fun for the week ahead!

Hey all, Kim here!

I got wicked busy last week/took a weekend trip to NYC over the weekend and completely forgot to do last week’s wrap up! So this week’s wrap up will include the past two weeks. Prepare to be inundated with awesomeness. Haha.

Speaking of NYC, it was amazing! The food! The museums! The food!! Plus, I finally got to stop at The Strand bookstore. It’s such an amazing store. All. The. Books. I could’ve stayed there all day, if given the choice. Do you guys have a favorite bookstore near you that you could easily spend the day at?

Here at Bookmunchies we believe in being surprises for the week
(aka. we procrastinate, so we can’t tell you what’s quite coming up yet).

Forever My Girl by Heidi McLaughlin (2 stars): That was a fun premise, but it didn’t fully live up to its potential.

The Scorch Trials by James Dashner (4 stars): Solid second book in a trilogy. And that ending! Definitely can’t wait to jump into The Death Cure.

The Bride Next Door by Hope Ramsay (4 stars): I was just as hooked on the secondary romance as I was the main pairing. It was a super cute read. A little cliche at times, but I still couldn’t get enough.

The Beau & The Belle by R.S. Grey (4 stars): Surprisingly fast paced read. It was the perfect balance of sweet romantic cuteness and some sizzling hot chemistry.

  1. The Bride Next Door by Hope Ramsay
  2. The Astonishing Color of After by Emily X.R. Pan

  1. The Last Single Girl by Bria Quinlan
