Weekly Wrap Up (61)

Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up with Bookmunchies. This is our weekly update that combines Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer‘s SUNDAY POST and Tynga’s Reviews‘ STACKING THE SHELVES. This is a post to share news, to recap the week on the blog, share new reads and new books, and upcoming fun for the week ahead!

Ahoy, Cyn here!

I got back from NYC early this week and I’m already thinking of when I can go back, it was seriously so much fun!! We did a bunch of tourist-y things but I think the highlight of the trip was definitely the Broadway shows. I saw Aladdin and Anastasia and they seriously blew my mind. Oh and don’t even get me started on all the delicious fooooood! Heavenly.

Here are some pictures:

Times Square!
Brooklyn Bridge!

I feel like I’m finally getting back in a groove for reading! So hopefully I’ll get back in a groove for reviewing, too. That’s still a little tough.

✖ Teaser Tuesday: Children of Blood and Bone (part II)
✖ Blog Tour review & Giveaway: The Good Luck Sister by Jill Shalvis

Here at Bookmunchies we believe in being surprises for the week
(aka. we procrastinate, so we can’t tell you what’s quite coming up yet).
(:

The Astonishing Color of After by Emily X.R. Pan (4 stars): An interesting and emotional read. It’s kind of hard to describe but it definitely pulled on some heartstrings.

From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon (4 stars): This was a sweet self-discovery kinda story. Lots of cute moments and I really adored Sahil (and Twinkle, too!).

The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang (5 stars): This book was perfection. It was so sweet and endearing and the romance was very swoon-worthy!

For Review:

  1. From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon
  2. When A Duke Loves A Woman by Lorraine Heath
