Life Of A Blogger: Clothing

Life of a Blogger

Welcome to Life of a Blogger, a weekly meme hosted by Jessi @ Novel Heartbeats! This is where you get the chance to know the blogger behind the blog, aka: What we do when we’re not blogging! Every week there will be a new topic; mainly non-bookish, where I’ll share a little bit of life with you guys (:

This week’s topic is: Clothing!

So I like fashion. But I’m a lazy shopper (for clothing. I love shoe shopping though).

But despite being a lazy shopper, my closet is usually overflowing with clothes anyway.

That's just how it is.
That’s just how it is.

Currently, I don’t have enough hangers (or any pant hangers for that matter), I definitely need to get on that (though to me defense, I just moved!…plus there’s never ever enough hangers, no matter how many you buy).

I have too many dresses that I don’t wear enough. I love sweaters of all sorts (fancy and comfy). Skinny jeans are my jam. And I have at least 3 t-shirts with dinosaurs on them. And one with a pineapple.

I’m usually the cute and comfy, but some days I like to play dress-up.

Which reminds me, now that I’m almost a legit adult in a professional program, I need to buy dress pants. Boo.

So do you guys like/love clothes? Or only wear them because society dictates it? Super trendy or more the comfy causal? What’s your go to item of clothing?

  1. Um, I guess I like clothes? I just don’t like shopping for it. Shirts and such are fine, pants/shoes is a nightmare. Feet are both small and skinny, so finding sandals/heels that actually fit my feet is near impossible. Pants, if they fit my thighs, they don’t fit my waist and vice versa (even jeans) so another nightmare. Therefore I go shopping as little as possible xD

As for style I’m all about the comfy, but I like to dress it up occasionally (rarely?).

  2. I love clothes and I love shopping! I had a hard time justifying feeding my shopping habit since I don’t work outside the home and my lifestyle is definitely on the casual side – jeans or casual skirts if I have to leave, heavy on the yoga pants if I’m staying home. Luckily I discovered thrift stores so I have a pretty extensive wardrobe for not very much. My daughter is trying to get a random tshirt from all 50 states so it’s something we do together which is pretty fun. Great topic!
