Never settle down. Ever.
Workaholic Lanie Rogers lives a completely nomadic lifestyle. Her job keeps her on the move, and relationships are a complication she doesn't need. That is, until she meets Mr. Tall, Dark, and Hotness at a pre-wedding party. Complicated? Maybe. But lately, Lanie's life has been missing a little something---and sexy playboy Tyler Norris offers something she definitely can't refuse.
Tyler has always been a little too popular with women for his own good. Ever since he and his buddies vowed to remain bachelors, Tyler figured he was safe from temptation. Lanie and her gorgeous brown eyes are about to prove him so, so wrong. With one kiss, the heat is intense. After one night, it's pure combustion. It was supposed to be a no-strings fling---until these two commitment-phobes each discover the one undeniable exception to their rule.

A quick and sweet addition to the Bachelor Brotherhood series, Until You fits right into the cute rom-com genre. After a crazy ex-girlfriend puts playboy Tyler off from the dating scene he meets workaholic Lanie who just wants a no-strings fling while she’s in town. The perfect scenario for the both of them until love decides to complicate things! (/read in a movie announcer voice).

This was a classic cute comfort read, nothing too utterly surprising or out there, just easy, fluffy, fun. I enjoyed the chemistry between Lanie and Tyler. It was a bit insta-lust at first (all about scratching the itch) but when they finally were more open in their attraction to each other, it was extra sweet. There’s of course a few shenanigan-y moments (it’s what happens when you try to keep flings/relationships a secret from your best friends/cousin), some drama (that could have been resolved by communication), and maybe a bit surprising, an actual obstacle to their happily ever after that was legit (aka. not just people idiots!),and to top it off a grand gesture, woo!

Tyler definitely won me over. He showed that he was more than a playboy lawyer who wanted a fling. I loved his growth with his family (especially with his teenage brother) and his willingness to work for the relationship. I enjoyed Lanie’s sassiness and her ability to keep Tyler on his toes. But she also frustrated me with her lack of faith in Tyler and their relationship at times (thankfully she does set up eventually). The secondary characters were a collection of friends/family from book one (Only You) and new characters, most of which I quite enjoyed. I’m definitely looking forward to Kevin and Tyler’s friend Matt’s HEA in the next book!

While Until You was fairly predictable, overall it was still fun and flirty, perfect for when you’re in the mood for a summery rom-com kinda read.

About Denise Grover Swank

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Denise Grover Swank was born in Kansas City, Missouri and lived in the area until she was nineteen. Then she became a nomadic gypsy, living in five cities, four states and ten houses over the course of ten years before she moved back to her roots. She speaks English and smattering of Spanish and Chinese which she learned through an intensive Nick Jr. immersion period. Her hobbies include witty Facebook comments (in own her mind) and dancing in her kitchen with her children. (Quite badly if you believe her offspring.) Hidden talents include the gift of justification and the ability to drink massive amounts of caffeine and still fall asleep within two minutes. Her lack of the sense of smell allows her to perform many unspeakable tasks. She has six children and hasn’t lost her sanity. Or so she leads you to believe.
