Sunday Post (06) / In My Mailbox (10)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Slow week this last week for posts on the blog, but I did end up reading 4 books this week so that was nice (: I finally finished The Mischief of the Mistletoe by Lauren Willig (my review on Goodreads, haven’t posted it yet here haha), which I forgot about over the holiday, but I’m glad I finished it because it’s so cute!

In My Mailbox 2

In My Mailbox post! Hosted by The Story Siren, In My Mailbox is a chance to showcase new books, ones checked out from the library, bought, won or received for review.

One from Netgalley for review; and two from the library, but they’re just Lonely Planet travel guides for South East Asia (which I plan on visiting in end of February!).

The Geek Girl and the Scandalous Earl - Gina Lamm(01) The Geek Girl and the Scandalous Earl by Gina Lamm

An avid gamer, Jamie Marten loves to escape into online adventure. But when she falls through an antique mirror into a lavish bedchamber—200 years in the past!—she realizes she may have escaped a little too far.

Micah Axelby, Earl of Dunnington, has just kicked one mistress out of his bed, and isn’t looking to fill it with another—least of all this sassy, nearly naked girl who claims to be from the future. Yet something about her is undeniably enticing…

Jamie and Micah are worlds apart. He’s a peer of the realm. She can barely make rent. She’s wi-fi. He’s horse-drawn. But soon the pair will do anything to avoid a Game Over.

This was my Waiting on Wednesday; I’m really excited. I hope it’s funny haha.

(02) Quick question; I actually got approved on Netgalley for the book: Marco Impossible by Hannah Moskowitz, but when I went to sign in to download it, the book wasn’t there anymore. Anyone having similar problems? I guess the publisher just decided to take it down maybe? I’ve emailed them so hopefully we get that sorted out because it sounds like an adorable book!
