Sunday Post (105) / Stacking the Shelves (85)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

February is over and March is on the way. I’m super excited because it means one more month until YALLWest and the LA Times Festival of Books. I’ll definitely be attending the Festival of Books, but still debating on if I should attend both days of YALLWest (if work permits) or just Sunday. I feel like there’s so many awesome events coming up and I just don’t know which one I should go. The problem is usually transportation and work schedule with me, but I’m crossing my fingers that I can make it to more book events this year. I hope you all have an awesome week.

STSmall_thumb25255B225255DStacking the Shelves post! Hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, Stacking the Shelves is a chance to showcase new books, ones checked out from the library, bought, won or received for review.

I really should stop borrowing books for a while and just finish all the books I borrow, except that I can’t help it because my library has been good getting new books lately.

  1. LA Festival of Books sounds like so much fun! Though I do hope you are able to make both work. Books borrowed from the library don’t count! Or at least that’s what I always tell myself. Have a great week!

  2. Great wrap up. I hope you are enjoying All the bright places. I loved that one.

  3. I borrowed The Last Time We Say Goodbye as well, and I’m looking forward to Darker Shade of Magic! Hope you enjoy your YA festivals, how fun!

  4. I am not familiar with the books, so thanks for introducing me to some new ones. Hope you are enjoying them;

  5. I enjoyed THE SECRETS OF SIR RICHARD KENWORTHY and so glad I do not have to attend the Smith-Smythe musicales!

  6. I love Jessica Khoury, can’t wait to read that one! And I liked Suspicion, hope you enjoy it as well. Check out my STS

  7. I like your new books. A couple are new to me too! I’m hoping to attend some local events this spring. Not much happening right now.

  8. There always seems to be so many awesome events out west. Boston BookFest was awesome, but it’s the only one I can get to without taking a train ride to NYC. I hope your schedule works out so that you get to go to all the awesome events.

  9. Nice that you got All the Bright Places and A Darker Shade of Magic! I’ve been wanting to read those two!

  10. Your library had ADSOM already?! Great, I am going to check my library’s site. Fingers crossed. I am also waiting on Six of Crows. I love the Grisha world. I hope you are having a wonderful week.
