Sunday Post (111) / Stacking the Shelves (91)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Kim here,

It’s finally getting to be spring! At least for this weekend! 😀 There’s sun and warmth and it’s a beautiful time to read outside. Even more exciting, the bookstore I work at got Jane Yolen and Heidi Stemple in to talk about their new book You Nest Here With Me. It was so amazing. It was inspiring to have two such creative people in to talk to the teachers, librarians, and children who came in. I’m so thankful I was there for it.

Pre-emptively, while there’s a moment, I have an announcement! The bookstore, Blue Bunny Books in Dedham, MA, will be hosting a YA panel on May 30th! We’ll be getting some fabulous authors including Elissa Sussman, Lori Goldstein, Trisha Leaver, and more.

Borrowed:

To All the Boys I've Loved Before - Jenny Han

Not something I’d usually read, but I’ve obvs been branching out recently. It sounds fabulous and I’ve heard good things.

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse AndrewsI hear it’s funny. It better be fun because I also recommended it to a friend who apparently cried for hours reading The Fault in Our Stars. If it ends up being one of those situations… Oops?
