Sunday Post (143) / Stacking the Shelves (123)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

Totally didn’t expect work to go by so quickly this week, but I’m super glad it did.  I skipped Black Friday because it’s just not my thing. I’d rather stay comfortably at home listening to the entire Nutcracker Suite while curl up with a good book and a cup of tea. I didn’t really have anything that omg I needed to buy and I bought all my Christmas presents earlier this week (waiting for it to be shipped at the moment). I hope you guys had an awesome Thanksgiving with your family and friends and ate a lot of food. Hopefully your family didn’t drag you to go Black Friday shopping after. If you went Black Friday shopping, did you buy anything good?

  1. Great haul! I hope you enjoy all of your new books! Happy Sunday!! 🙂

  2. Jackie! I loved A Thousand Nights. I read two retellings of the fairy tale this year – that one, and The Wrath and the Dawn – and enjoyed them both! They were very different but very good. 🙂 Anyway, I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

    Have a fabulous week. 🙂

Glad you had a good week. I skipped Black Friday too. Well, I did buy a new Ninja blender online, but that’s it.

  4. I’m not a Black Friday shopper either, but I had to work at my part time job at Barnes and Noble on Black Friday. Fortunately we don’t get the crazy people there because we don’t have crazy sales. You got a couple good books this week it looks like!

  5. I wish we had Black Friday here because of all the sales but I’ve just been shopping it up online!
