Sunday Post (165) / Stacking the Shelves (145)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

It’s May and it’s my favoritest month because it’s my birthday month. *throws confettis in the air* And this month is one of the months that there’s a lot of books I’m looking forward to reading (Why is it always May that this happens? Why?). Like The Trials of Apollo for instance.  I think that will be one of my birthday presents to myself. Even though I really want more, I should really limit on my book buying because I’m slowly running of shelf space and I have no room for a new shelf. I guess it’s a good thing I’m not that sort of girl who’s into nail polish and make up especially with my accumulating tea and yarn stash god knows where I’ll put them.

Whoo another May birthday! Mine is at the end of the month. I have pretty much NO room for new books these days, but that doesn’t stop me from adding more…and more…haha

  2. I definitely know the feeling of running out of shelf space lol! Since coming back from RT a couple of weeks ago I’m not sure where to put my TBR 2.0 pile hehe.

  3. Happy birthday month, Jackie 🙂 The best book presents are those we get for ourselves 🙂
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  4. I still enjoy the books for myself part! There is nothing better than just grabbing a book because you want to lol.. Not that it helps my TBR pile, but that is not the point here 🙂 Hope you have a fantastic week & happy reading!

  8. May is definitely also one of my favorite months. A lot of fun stuff is going to happen, and usually the weather is getting better this month too. I hope your Birthday month will be awesome!! 😉

  9. YAY for birthday month! You should buy all the books to celebrate. I’ve run out of shelf space too! I need yet another bookcase… ah well. Everyone has to like SOMETHING, right? 😉

    Have a great week!

  10. YAY for birthday! I have also run out of shelf space. I’m holding off buying a new bookcase in hopes that a move is not too far off and because I am a little cramped on space right now. May also means summer! I hope you have a great week!

  11. I hope you have a great birthday this month Jackie – you definitely deserve some birthday presents to yourself! I haven’t heard much hype for Trials of Apollo, strangely.
