Sunday Post (175) / Stacking the Shelves (155)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

Even though it was a holiday on Monday and then no work on Friday, it feels like a long week for me. I’m not sure if it’s because the weather or the never-ending shelving but lately I feel like it’s been that way. But, aside from that, I’m also reminded that this world is a scary place and I have to be constantly on alert especially since I ride the public transportation daily to work or sometimes use public transportation to meet up friends for lunch. Anyhow, anime expo, was okay. I wish that they were better organized every year and not just every other year. I had an interesting bus ride on the way to pick up my badge but it was a commute that I wish I never have to experience again.

  1. Yeah, holiday weeks are like that…. despite the potential time off, the work days seem longer. ☺

  2. It is a scary time to be alive:) Thank goodness for the distraction of good books!

  3. That’s to bad about the lack of organization. It’s always frustrating when something could have been so much better if it’d just been a little bit more thought out. This week has definitely been long and for some reason I’ve had a hard time remembering what day it is which didn’t help. Have a great (and hopefully quicker) week!

  4. Having Monday off was really nice, especially since the next day was my birthday! It made working on my birthday seem not as bad. =) Girl, I feel you about public transportation – I also use it to get to work and back, and I always have an backup escape plan in the back of my head when I get on the bus. It’s scary and so sad, the way this world is going. :/

Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful week!

  5. Sometimes I think weeks where I have less work days feel so much longer!!! Bummer about the anime expo not being awesome. Hopefully they will get their act together!

  6. I agree, short weeks do always seem longer. Hope you have a good week!

  7. It’s certainly scary these days, you’ll never know what’s going to happen. Keep safe! Hope you’ll have a good week ahead 🙂

  8. It is definitely not Mayberry days anymore. I hope you enjoyed the anime expo. It stinks when things aren’t well organized for customers.
