Sunday Post (176) / Stacking the Shelves (156)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

It’s been another long week, but it wasn’t a bad work week. Just kind of slow and monotonuous. However, I’m slowly getting my reading mojo back. I read more than one book this week and I feel so proud of myself for that. Now if I can pick up the pace and catch up with the 15 books that I’m behind in (according to Goodreads) that would be well. There’s something about the summer weather that makes me feel extra lazy about doing things and I guess reading is one of them.

  1. My reading takes a hit every summer. I just don’t have the brainpower to read and if I do pick up a book it rarely holds my interest. Hopefully you’re mojo comes back soon and you catch up on those 15 books. Have a great week!

  2. I think many are struggling with reading this summer…maybe its all the heat. Hope you get your mojo back soon.

  3. I was excited to hear about the new book by Mafi until I realized it was a middle grade. I probably won’t read it. Hope you enjoy your new books!
    Check out my Sunday Post

  4. I’m also feeling very drab with the weather (and news). I am content hermiting on the couch.
