Sunday Post (196) / Stacking the Shelves (176)

sundaypostThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

OMG! I can’t believe we’re near Christmas and almost 2017. Like how did that happen? O__O The summer days felt endless, but it’s finally feeling like fall/winter that it makes me think summer happened a long time ago. I don’t know about you but I felt this week was long. There’s just something about getting the week off makes the following week feel like ugh is it only Wednesday? Like seriously you’d think getting a break would be slow but nope it’s quite the opposite. It goes by quicker than you’d normally like. And the funny thing is even though we were off for the week for fumigation and there was no way to return materials it felt like we had twice as much to do when we got back. So pretty much I’m exhausted.

Stacking the Shelves post! Hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, Stacking the Shelves is a chance to showcase new books, ones checked out from the library, bought, won or received for review.

I feel like its been months since I last stepped into a bookstore. While I do love the convience of purchasing e-books, sometimes having a physical copy of the book is much better…even if you’re running out of shelf space.

1. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them the original screenplay by J.K. Rowling
2. Heartless by Marissa Meyer
3. The Midnight Star by Marie Lu
