Sunday Post (199) / Stacking the Shelves (179)

sundaypostThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! I hope you get to spend some time with your love ones, eat all the delicious foods, and got everything that you asked for on your wish list. Work this week was a lot better probably because the rain made a lot of people stay at home, but we didn’t have a lot to do as per usual. All the supervisors brought in food on Wednesday so we had a little party going on and it was fabulous. Speaking of the rain, it’s starting to feel like actual winter here in SoCal. Despite not waking up to white Christmases I think I like the rain better.

  1. Have a wonderful holiday. 🙂

  2. Have a wonderful holiday, and I’m with you about preferring rain to snow. Snow is lovely to “visit,” but not to live around. I live just a short hop from the mountains covered with snow, but my daily life is not submerged in it.

Enjoy your reading…I’m curious about Unplugged.

  3. Merry Christmas! I’d love a dusting here but we had rain yesterday when we were traveling and clear skies today!

  4. Ooo, I remember seeing a lot of excitement about the new McNeil book! 3.5 stars is not bad. I read the first book of that series by Claudia Gray (A Thousands Pieces of You?), but I didn’t love it (didn’t hate it either though!). I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

    Happy holidays. =)

  5. Kinda sad to see the Gretchen McNeil book only got 3 of 5 stars, I usually love her books. I never got around to reading the egalley of it, so now I have to wait to get a copy of it. Hope you had a great Christmas!

  6. Merry Christmas! YAY for an easy week! I think we have had the hottest Christmas ever in Central Texas. I had to go out and buy appropriate clothes because it was so muggy and I packed winter wear!

  7. We’ve had a spot of rain here in NC, too. No snow so far which is kinda odd! Hope you had a great Christmas!
