Sunday Post (205) / Stacking the Shelves (185)

sundaypostThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello, Jackie here,

Some weeks seem to fly by quickly than others. I mean how did January end so fast? Sometimes I wish I can put life on a pause just so we can slow down and take the time to appreciate the day you know. February has got some pretty interesting books coming out that I’m anticipating: The Last of August by Brittany Cavallaro, I’m still a bit on the fence about reading King’s Cage by Victoria Aveyard because the ending for Glass Sword was kind of ehhh for me, and  A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab (I need more Kell and Lila moments #dyingformore). Are there any books you guys are looking forward to coming out this month?

  1. Looks like you had a pretty good week, Jackie. Hope the next is even better. The only book I can think of that I’m looking forward to in February is The Turn by Kim Harrison.

  2. I can’t believe it is January already either!! I really want to get my hands on Caraval – enjoy! Have a great week!

  3. WOOT, hope you enjoy Caraval! The only reason why I’m reading King’s Cage is to see how the series continues, since I’ve already been through the first 2 books (which I wasn’t TOO big of a fan of, lol). Anyhow, hope you have a great February!

  4. Everybody is reading Caraval of late. I hope you love it.

  5. Oh I know…I just want to enjoy February. There are some fabulous releases coming out, the ones I am most excited for are Devil In Spring and Into The Fire

  6. I do wish that life would just slow down sometimes. I always seem to have a list of books that I am looking forward to. I am eager to read Devil in Spring which comes out later this month. Have a great week!

  7. I so agree! I wish we could slow down and enjoy the days. I feel like they are passing way too quickly.

  8. I hope you’re having a great time with your February reads! And gah yes. The days go by way too quick some weeks. lol

  9. Will someone tell the world to slow down…no need to hurry by so fast.
