I’m thinking of changing the format of the Sunday Post/Stacking the Shelves here on Bookmunchies. Maybe a new banner, how things are presented etc. It’s currently in the works so many something totally different next week!

Picked up Rebel Belle because it’s so pretty (and it’s a funny read). And a new cookbook! I love it because it’s all photos (:

  7. That is so neat that you are learning the Ukele…it is hard right? My dad and brothers play it sometimes. They LOVE everything Hawaii hehe Its so pretty to hear though.

  8. Good luck with the ukulele! The Upside of Unrequited looks like something I’d be into, totally my kind of book cover.

  12. Learning the ukulele? Wow! That’s awesome. Your fingers will surely get used to it, practice makes perfect! 🙂

I love cookbooks with lots of pictures too! I like to know what the food is supposed to look like before I make it, I’m weird like that.

Hope you have a great week! ~Aleen

  13. I kind of started looking into teaching myself to play guitar from Youtube, but I realized I need a face-to-face instructor. I felt really bad that I couldn’t figure it out, so good for you trying to learn the ukulele! A guy I went to high school with started playing the ukulele and then moved on to some very rare instrument and now travels the world playing it at different events. I restructured my Sunday Posts, too, and I think I need to go back and do some more tweaks. Can’t wait to see what it will look like!

  14. That is awesome that you are learning to play the Ukele. My niece plays it and it is an awesome instrument. I hope you have a fantastic week.

  15. Yay for fun purchases! I got a new cookbook this weekend too. I like that it has photos for almost all of the recipes – that’s a plus for me. I want to know what it looks like! haha

  17. Good luck with the ukelele, Cyn — and keep at it! When I first learned to play guitar I really struggled with the pain in my fingers, but it’s totally worth it once you can play! 😀 Eeeeee, The Upside of Unrequited! That reminds me that I really need to read Simon Vs. soon…

  18. Pretty cookbooks! Oh, how I love cookbooks with beautiful photography. Makes the mouth water!

  19. The ukulele sounds fun! I’m so excited to read The Upside of Unrequited! That cookbook is pretty. I only like cookbooks with lots of pictures lol.
