BOOK HAUL

STSmall_thumb25255B225255DStacking the Shelves post! Hosted byΒ Tynga’s Reviews, Stacking the Shelves is a chance to showcase new books, ones checked out from the library, bought, won or received for review.

My pretty books came in the mail! Nothing beats getting a big box of books (: Also a few for review too (from Netgalley)

(01) The Prehistory of The Far Side by Gary Larson
(02) Everneath by Brodi Ashton
(03) Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
(04) Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff
(05) Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

First of all, you can never go wrong with a good (aka. all) Gary Larson Far Side comic. Anyways, I managed to snag some great deals this last week! I’ve really been meaning to get a copy of Stormdance and Shadow and Bone for a while now; they look very pretty on the bookshelf (: I picked up Everneath and Under the Never Sky too because I’ve really been meaning to read those haha.

Why Dukes Say I Do - Manda Collins(06) Why Dukes Say I Do by Manda Collins

This is Manda Collins’ new romance series. I enjoyed her Ugly Ducking series and the novella, Perks of Being a Beauty teased us with the new characters too. I actually finished readying this already haha, so I should have this week’s Romantic Thursday featuring a review of this (:

Mister Max The Book of Lost Things - Cynthia Voigt(07) Mister Max: The Book of Lost Things by Cynthia Voigt

Thanks to Knopf Books for Young Readers Publishing for inviting to me review this book. It looks like a cute theatrical adventure read.

Malavita - Tonino Benacquista(08) Malavita: A Novel by Tonino Benacquista

It’s actually been made into a movie (The Family – trailer) which is what I saw first and realized it was based on a book. Netgalley had it, and the trailer looked pretty funny and interesting so I figured why not. Who can resist a good mob family story right? haha
