Sunday Post (39) / Stacking the Shelves (19)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I can tell it’s that time of the school year where we’re getting close to the end and everything is due and I’m really procrastinating (as seen by all the books I read in the last week). Otherwise, nothing too interesting for me.  Currently working on paper number two – Psychopathy and violence, how are psychopaths different than regular violent criminals and are all psychopaths violent murders? oooh. It’s interesting, but but I’m also sick of sifting through articles haha. Happy Mid-November!

(03) Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

How pretty are these coverrrs?! I featured these watercolour covers by Sara Singh! on my Shelf Candy Saturday a while back and finally caved in ended up with all the Jane Austen ones. I still have to read Sense and Sensibility though, shh! I just can’t handle the Dashwood sisters. But now that I own it, maybe one day.

IMG_2464(04) The Diviners by Libba Bray

Oh The Diviners! I love this guy so much. It was a 5 Star for me [my review HERE] Got the hardcover for cheap so why not. I really like this cover but I’m so disappointed by the cover of Lair of Dreams (The Diviners #2) ): I’m sure the book will still be fantastic though.

The Taking - Kimberly Derting(05) The Taking by Kimberly Derting

Thanks Harper Teen & Edelweiss (: I’m joining the party! A lot of people picked this book up last week haha. I’m really excited for this. It sounds like a pretty good psychological thriller/amnesia story with a sci-fi mix.

Twas the Night Before Mischief - Nina RowanOnce Upon a Highland Christmas - Sue-Ellen Welfonder(06) ‘Twas the Night Before Mischief by Nina Rown
(07) Once Upon a Highland Christmas by Sue-Ellen Welfonder

Thanks Forever & Netgalley (: A few for review consideration, though I do love Christmas novellas, so chances are the reviews will probably be up in the next few weeks. Also, there’ll be a giveaway on the blog for a  bunch of Forever publishing historical romance, so remember to come back and check it out!
