Sunday Post (40) / Stacking the Shelves (20)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Last lag of school! 2 more weeks until final exams. I’m down to one last paper! (This one’s about culture and food, yum! I’m doing a comparison food rules between two different culture, but I haven’t decided what I specifically want to talk about yet, i.e. eating etiquette, or types of food eaten, how/when food is eaten etc., oh the options!)It’s pretty cold here (-30C boo) but not too much snow which is good b/c I hate driving in snow. Other than that, nothing too interesting. Happy Winter! Everyone say warm! (or cool if you’re Australia and the likes haha)

(02) Shadowdance by Kristen Callihan

Thanks to Forever for the ARCs! I’ve been reading lots of good things about both books and from the amount I’ve read of The Rogue’s Proposal, I’m really enjoying it. And Shadowdance!! I’m been waiting for this guy since Winterblaze! I’m so excited to start it!!

IMG_2476(03) The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien

I picked up this copy of The Hobbit because I love the cover. Yup.

Prisoner of Night and Fog - Anne Blankman(04) Prisoner of Night and Fog by Anne Blankman

Thanks  Balzer + Bray/HarperCollins & Edelweiss (: Fact is I never could resist a good historical thriller/ WWII story. And falling for the enemy, talk about forbidden romance! The  book blurb said: “Fans of Code Name Verity will love this novel full of romance, danger, and intrigue” how could I resist.

A Duchess in the Dark - Kate McKinley(05) The Duchess in the Dark by Kate McKinley

Thanks Forever & Netgalley (: Picked up this one too since it as one of the books being given away for the Forever Get Hooked on Historical giveaway. I’ve already reviewed it (HERE) and it’s actually a pretty cute and thorough story for a novella.
