Sunday Post (48) / Stacking the Shelves (28)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello,

Nothing too exciting with me, it’s been kind of same old, same old. Reading a lot, which is always nice. And catching up on TV. Finished watching the new season of BBC’s Sherlock, and holy cow it’s awesomesauce. Weather’s been warming up…probably too warm.. I think it’s giving a false scene of security only to snatch it away and come back with full force of -40 in Feb 😐 That’s about it! Have an awesome week all.

– Cyn

 BOOK HAUL

STSmall_thumb25255B225255DStacking the Shelves post! Hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, Stacking the Shelves is a chance to showcase new books, ones checked out from the library, bought, won or received for review.

IMG_2585(01) Cinnamon and Gunpowder by Eli Brown (my review)
(02) The Program by Suzanne Young
(03) Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan

Just picked up a few of my favourite books! I love, love the covers of C & G and The Program so much (and the story too) that I wanted copies for the shelf. I also picked up Dash & Lily b/c I’ve been meaning to read it for a while and it was cheap (:

Grim - Christine Johnson(01) Grim edited by Christine Johnson ft. various authors

Thanks Harlequin Teen & Netgalley! Got this sweet anthology of The Brothers Grimm’s fairy tales retelling/inspiration by a huge host of different authors. Definitely excited to check it out as I love fairy tale retellings and the original of course are always way more scarier than the disney versions haha.
