Sunday Post (58) / Stacking the Shelves (38)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

So I decided I shouldn’t complain about the cold spring considering east coast Canada is basically getting snow hurricanes. SNOW HURRICANES!! yeaaah. I’ve loaded up my e-reader so I’ve got lots of books to read for my ridiculously long flight to Australia! I’m hoping to get a bunch of eARCs done, haha. Oh, and this will be my last Sunday Post until I get back in two months (hopefully) Kim and/or Jackie will keep you guys up to date!

I decided to buy a bunch of books…surprisingly not all of them for me, haha. I got a few as presents for some friends.

IMG_2679(01) Kinslayer by Jay Kristoff
(02) Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
(03) Antigoddess by Kendare Blake
(04) Every Day by David Levithan
(05) Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo
(06) Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

I’ve been meaning to read Kinslayer for a while, so I’m happy I finally picked up a copy, plus, the cover is gorgeous! Same with Antigoddess! Also, picked up Fangirl, because I love it. The other three books are birthday presents for peeps. All, which I’ve already read and really enjoyed.

(07) Traitor’s Blade by Sebastien de Castell

Book mail! Thanks to Cuddlebuggery & Macmillian for The Winner’s Curse and the swag (which I forgot to take pictures of). This is my second copy of The Winner’s Curse, so I’m probably going to give it away as a birthday present or something. And thanks to Penguin Canada for the signed ARC of Traitor’s Blade! It sounds pretty cool.

My Last Kiss - Bethany NealThe Chapel Wars - Lindsey Leavitt(08) My Last Kiss by Bethany Neal
(09) The Chapel Wars by Lindsey Leavitt

Thanks Macmillian & BloomsburyUSA & Netgalley! So I decided to sign up for the blog tour for My Last Kiss because it sounds like a really cool read (about a girl who dies & tries to piece together her death), so hopefully it’s as good as it sounds. And, I’m soooo excited for The Chapel Wars!! Talk about cute YA contemporaries. Also, this is my first approval by BloomsburyUSA, I’m so happy!
