“I never thought I’d see you again. I’m a mess. My heart is a mess.”

“And you – you are not just Elias. You are Elias Veturius. The guards talk about you when they think no one is listening. They say you were a Mask once.”
“I took the Mask off.”

I was surprised how quickly I read through this sequel. The cliffhanger at the end of the book is a killer.

  1. Great pick! I still have to read the first instalment, but it’s good to know about the cliffhanger at the end of this sequel, it makes me want to start the read sooner rather than later!!

Thanks for sharing, here’s my TT 🙂

  2. Great teasers from a fantastic book! My husband and I both loved this one!

  6. I’m curious about the Masks. Sounds like a good series.
My Tuesday post features A MAN CALLED OVE.

  7. It drives me nuts when I come across an unexpected cliff hanger. Especially if I have to wait for the next book to be released. I have a series I’m starting now just because it’s finally complete. LOL Seen this around but haven’t tried the author yet.

  8. Ah! I really don’t like cliffhanger endings. My YA Teaser this week comes from Gap Life by John Coy. Happy reading!

  9. I absolutely loved that book! Great teaser.
