Teaser Tuesday: The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue

What is teaser Tuesday? It’s a meme hosted by The Purple Booker (previously by Books and a Beat).

Grab your current read, flip to a random page, share two teaser sentences, don’t include spoilers.

“We’re not courting trouble,” I say. “Flirting with it, at most.”

&

“Just thinking about all that blood.” I nearly shudder. “Doesn’t it make you a bit squeamish?”
“Ladies haven’t the luxury of being squeamish about blood,” she replies, and Percy and I go fantastically red in unison.”

As I recently discovered that there’s a second book in this series, staring Monty’s sister Felicity (with Monty and Percy being side characters), I can’t help but re-read some of this hilarious book.

PS. My review of it here!
